Wood Energy Technology Transfer Inc. (WETT Inc.) is a non-profit training and education association managed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected by holders of valid WETT certificates. Through its administrative designate, WETT Inc. functions as the national registrar of the WETT program. Through professional training and public education, WETT Inc. promotes the safe and effective use of wood-burning systems in Canada.

Chimneys.com was established in 1994 by Oliver Beauchemin and Ron Herman. It was the first web site focused on chimneys. At the time, Oliver was running a chimney service company in the Boston area, as well as a start-up industry magazine. The Internet was in its infancy, and it seemed only natural to setup a web site for homeowners and chimney professionals focused on everything chimneys.

For more than thirty years, the Chimney Safety Institute of America (CSIA) has worked to prevent chimney fires, dryer fires, and other home heating disasters by advancing public awareness and providing expert-led education and training to industry professionals.
